08 Adalaria proxima

Mantle has ovoid, club shaped tubercles with a rounded apical point and narrow base; widest at about 45% of height from the base. The opaque vertical core of the translucent tubercles is a bundle of calcareous spicules which fan out at the top (1). Outer Hebrides, Scotland. April 2018. Leg. D. McKay & S.Taylor.
