12 Acanthodoris pilosa

Narrow oral veil (1) extended laterally into broad, flat oral tentacles (2). Anterior of veil has protrusion (3) either side of central recessed section. Central, faintly yellowish mouth near edge of foot.

Sole translucent white; opaque whitish central area is probably white gonads and thicker sole of mature adult concealing nearly all of brownish viscera visible in juveniles. This specimen is brown dorsally and has a few dark pigment marks on sole and underside of mantle.
