The flesh of Myosotella myosotis form denticulata is often white or very pale whitish grey, as above, when under embedded stones. In this habitat (but not usually crevices) it is often with L. bidentata, but can easily be distinguished by protrusions in M. myosotis form denticulata aperture always exceeding two.
