03 Onchidoris bilamellata

Young specimens. Lengths 1.4 to 5.3 mm. Thompson and Brown (1984) states that juveniles “all pass through a pure white stage; brown pigment appears – – at about 2 mm”, but brown can be seen at smaller sizes. The dorsal panel between rhinophores and gills is usually the darkest and most consistently brown part of the body. The amount on the sides varies.
