Body extended (same individual as in ). This colour form is frequent also in P. capitata.
1: anterior veil (mantle edge) lifted.
2: 15 lamellae on rhinophore; P. capitata has c. 8, maximum 11.
3: yellow tuberculate blotches mark the rim of the reduced mantle.
4: large single lobe at each side of the gills.
5: translucent white gills with yellow tips and axes.
6: yellow tipped propodial tentacle.
7: protruded edge of oral area.
8: digestive gland.
9: buccal mass.
