06 Geitodoris planata

The mantle is covered with tightly packed, rounded, spiculose tubercles.
Smooth, stout, translucent basal halves of the rhinophores are speckled and blotched with purplish brown. The upper halves have about twelve or thirteen yellowish lamellae with brown markings. Their basal pits have irregular marginal flaps which can fold over and conceal the rhinophores when they are retracted.
