02 Ocenebra erinaceus

Heights of aperture (1) 60% and body-whorl (2) 78% of 23 mm shell height. Protoconch (3) about 1 mm in diameter lacks obvious sculpture and has about two and a half tumid, smooth whorls; insets show it from three different sides. Aperture is approximately ‘P’ shaped with the nearly straight inner lip (4) and long, open, siphonal canal (5) forming the upright, and the palatal lip (6) forming the curve.
