Radular sac removed.  Radula whitish posterior (1), yellow (2), orange (3) to partly red at anterior (4) as teeth acquire strong hard minerals of iron and silica. Each row of teeth arranged in patellid formula, 3+D+2+R+2+D+3.  Small, central unpigmented rachidian tooth (R) concealed by 2 large, unicuspid, pigmented lateral teeth (5) on each side. Then on each side, a single, tricuspid, pigmented, dominant-marginal tooth (D) (6) and three small unicuspid marginal teeth (7).
