Amphora area white with grey and a yellow border showing variably through it. Pallial gill groove scar, distal of translucent myostracum, is usually opaque white (1). Myostracum (2), scar left by pedal retractor muscle. Whitish projecting points of ribs often have short, unglazed, chalky, pure-white central line (3), but reduced or lacking where projecting points of ribs eroded (4).
