01 Amphibalanus improvisus

Opercular aperture acute at carinal end (1) and rounded at rostral end (2). Each white tergoscutal flap is dark at carinal end (3) and has four black-brown marks distributed along it (4). Scutum (5) has growth lines and a brown epidermis. Wall plates have a yellow epidermis except where eroded from the white edges.
