Specimen with pink girdle and brick-red, pink and yellowish valves. Colours vibrant as alive and in good condition.

1: edge of girdle fringed by straight, abruptly pointed, longitudinally finely striate spicules (124 X 22μm), often tinted as girdle.
2: dark viscera visible through translucent sole.
