Tail valve of dried specimen. Animal length c.15mm. Littoral. Orkney, Scotland. 1974.
Insertion plates on tail valve (viii) separated by 8 slits (range 5 to 11 slits). On the ventral articulatum a diagonal slit ray runs from each slit to the mucro (on dorsal face) position (1) where they almost meet the aesthete macropores in the jugum (2).
