external seminal groove runs along neck from common genital aperture (9, concealed just within anterior of right parapodial lobe) to penial aperture near base of right oral tentacle
semi-prone parapodium revealing enclosed anatomical features. (severed surface on dissection, from Eales, 1921).
 mantle covering shell.
round foramen in mantle exposes part of concealed shell.
part of mantle forms erect funnel with anus near base.
lobate gill, affixed at its anterior end, in narrow mantle-cavity (7) on right of parapodial enclosure.
 anus. 10: opaline gland
No obvious inhalent siphon (Jeffreys,1869, suggested inflow via foramen; seems unlikely). Water probably taken in at anterior between parapodial flaps to underside of mantle-covered shell and then into narrow mantle cavity on right containing gill.
