06 Janolus hyalinus

Transparent, colourless cerata, shade to hyaline green basally. They have papillae connected by white lines (1) which become yellowish at apex, and an internal brown digestive gland (2) extending half way up, except in front of the rhinophores (3) where the gland is absent (4). There is no cnidosac for storing sequestered cnidocytes in the tip of the cerata.
