1: two large parapodial lobes arise from approximate mid-point of body.
2: parapodial lobes extend to, meet and unite to form single parapodium at about 25% distance from posterior of body.
Diagnostic criterion to differentiate A. punctata from A. depilans and A. fasciata is that area enclosed by parapodium is not close to posterior of animal ( See in Grigg, 1949, pdf at plymsea.ac.uk/1391/ “limacina” = fasciata).
