Jorunna tomentosa (species complex needs investigation)
Buff mantle with two darker marks visible on side.
Very fine tubercles (caryophyllidia); velvety appearance. The large, pale gills can be held in a variety of positions; when fully expanded they are ‘elegant, beautiful and blossom-like’ (Alder & Hancock, 1845).
Length 55 mm. Menai Strait. June 2013.
