The broad, truncated anterior of the foot is bilaminate with the slit extending a short distance along the sides. The upper lip of the slit is corrugated.
The anterior pedal gland opens within the slit and produces mucus to aid locomotion; there is no ventral pedal gland. As there is no central longitudinal groove on the sole, locomotor waves are probably monotaxic.
