Dark brown-red pigment on lower part of mesial face of ceras (1). Blackish-red spheroid (2) and white granular bodies (3) in each tubercle.
Dense white granules in distal half of rhinophore (4). Rim of rhinophore sheath most dilated at anterior (5).
Five or six rings of tubercles on the larger cerata, with up to 9 tubercles in the third ring from the top (6). Unobtrusive posterior pair of cerata (7). Distinct white patch on body at base of each ceras; two cerata lost (8).
Hydroid prey of this specimen was not recorded. Identification made by match of features in this and other images of it with the description in Morrow, C.C., Thorpe, J.P. & Picton, B.E. 1992.
