02 Emarginula fissura

1: apex curved backwards to 28% of shell-length from the posterior. 2: atypical specimen with apex curved back to 2% of shell length from the posterior margin.
The shell height is usually from 50% to 70% of the length. Among a group of eight selected to show the range of variations, all had H/L% within these limits except the unusually low 1 (48%) and exceptionally tall 2 (86%).
