02 Rissoa parva. Non-costate (un-ribbed) interrupta form. Shell height 2.1 mm. Lleyn Peninsula, Wales. March 2015.

1: dark apical whorls slightly convex or almost flat.
2: more-recent whorls slightly more convex than apical whorls, but less so than on costate specimens.
3: lips form a continuous peristome, usually marked entirely or partially brown.
4: distinct thin parietal lip.
5: short columellar lip reflected onto body whorl, so no umbilcal groove visible.
6: falciform (sickle-shape-mark, a.k.a. ‘comma’) crossing weakly-developed, white, labial varix.
7: in apertural view, wavy brown lines extend across almost whole body-whorl with break at periphery.
8: in abapertural view, non-wavy lines only on adapical half of body-whorl.
(Colour lines vary greatly between specimens and, in this case, on different parts of a single specimen. See image for other variants.)
