06 Peringia ulvae

Patterned head but frequently un-patterned; all 58 others from same puddle in wet sand had un-patterned, all-black heads. Snout tip usually pale. All 59 had deep shell sutures. Single small pallial tentacle (1) protruding from rear of body-whorl on right of animal. Translucent spire on shell showing grey body (2). Sand-coated spawn mass (3) of another individual attached to shell.
