1: dark radiating rays in grooves of exterior shell-layer clearly visible on interior through transparent, iridescent skirt-shell-layer for most of way to 2: opaque, whitish pallial-groove band.
3: translucent horseshoe-shape scar left by pedal-retractor muscle.
4: anterior mantle-attachment scar (thin, yellowish, faintly visible on this specimen)
5: opaque, white, grey and yellowish-cream area, shaped like a fat amphora, enclosed by pedal-retractor scar and anterior mantle-attachment scar.
