11 Gibbula magus. Cardigan Bay, Wales. 2015.

1: flat inhalent siphon with fringed edge and central short stout peg.
2: bright blue truncated distal tip of eye-peduncle; black pupil just out of sight on tip of dorsum.
3: snout ends in circular yellow tip with a vertical slit mouth with diagonal slit extensions at each end.
4: exterior of snout with bright blue beard of papillae.
5: ventral surface of cephalic lappet yellowish white with a few brown lines and fringe of blue and yellow. Lappet described as orange in some sources; variation possible.
6: cephalic tentacle.
7: right neck-lobe curved to form complete bottle-necked siphon for exhalent water, faeces and reproductive products.
8: translucent tawny epipodial tentacle arising from substantial white sheath.
9: white, spiked, sensory lobe by base of epipodial tentacle.
