Shells whitish with three red-brown spiral bands on body whorl, but entirely white form occurs, especially in crevices, often in company with L. bidentata. Height up to 4.3mm .
Solid, long, conical spire with almost straight sided profile. Not fusiform.
No protrusions within aperture.
Largest 3.6 mm high. Menai Strait, Wales. February 2013.
