Stout cephalic tentacles taper rapidly; translucent yellowish-white with blackish dorso-lateral lines separated by medial triangular yellowish-white area (1) which expands around black eye on greatly swollen base and continues behind it tapering to a point. Ovipositor (2) on right side of female’s body extends to below right eye; grey with longitudinal black lines and yellow tip. Opercular disc (3) does not extend into lobes enfolding edges of operculum. Groove (4) across anterior of opercular disc extrudes conchiolin for creation of operculum. Conchiolin produced faster at right end of groove so resultant ribbon curves to form spiral operculum.
