Most British records are from the west, between the Isle of Wight and Orkney; no records from Bristol Channel and N.E. Irish Sea.
Few records from N. Sea coast of UK, but may be overlooked as found at five sites/dates in N. Yorkshire in 1992 and 2014 during visits by experienced members of Conchological Soc. of G.B. & Ireland; above is an example.
