19 Phorcus lineatus

Epipodium (1) a well developed veil along side of foot, united with neck-lobe (2) and right (only) eye peduncle (3).Epidpodium is usually held erect so ventral surface on view on live animal; ventral and dorsal surfaces yellow on this young specimen. Upper body whitish, tinted pink to rear of head by haemoglobin-rich buccal mass.
