22 Littorina compressa. Shell height 9mm. West coast of Anglesey, Wales. March 2015.

Distal face of penis (upper image) has grey pigment covering basal half (1).
In lower image the penis is twisted up revealing the unpigmented proximal face (2)
Relative to its body size, this male has a smaller than usual penis. This may be due to individual variation, or because it is not in breeding condition.
