Holdfast dwellers with a wide variety of distorted conoidal shells. Mean height 34% of length, but varies from17% to 57% of length. Profiles vary greatly, but the anterior is steeper and shorter than the posterior. Each shell has one or more abrupt changes of gradient, especially where the juvenile growth changes to adult growth.
