Left image: P. maritima sward with M. myosotis (also Assiminea grayana and Limapontia depressa) extends from river bank to man-made levee on left, but was much wider before the levee was built and a nearby tributary controlled by a sluice.
Right image: P. maritima sward with M. myosotis in a narrow zone 1 to 2 metres wide between river bank and steep, scrub clad, terrestrial edge of man-made landfill.
