The pallial food groove (1) receives mixed mucus and food from the pallial filter of mucus across the entrance to the mantle cavity on the left. The food passes along the groove to the food pocket (2) to await consumption. Mucus-food from the branchial filter of mucus on the ctenidium travels from the tips of the ctenidial filaments on the ciliated food track (3) which runs along the base of the right neck lobe L. 38 mm.
