Basal two thirds of cephalic tentacle thickened by fusion with eye peduncle; black eye on summit of outer face of thickened section. This specimen has 1 : open ventral division on base of tentacle; perhaps all are so divided but usually keep closed, or this specimen aberrant. 2: anterior edge of operculum embedded in opercular groove exuding it. 3 posterior edge of operculum not overlapped by opercular disc.
