The spire and aperture proportions of early stage L. parva juveniles (1) may resemble L. pallidula, but the much greater absolute size of L. pallidula juveniles (2) is obvious when the two are seen together. Adult and subadult (3) L. parva resemble the size, but not the spire and aperture proportions of juvenile L. pallidula.
